so smart sewing machine ripoff Dishonest billing, representives taking order does'nt know what their doing, and over charges Internet
My husband, who has no idea about what a sewing machine like this shoould could cost was ordering me one as a gift and I told him that the cost of this item was 14.95 plus s&h tried to order this for me and when he did he was so shocked at how much it really was so he decided to ruin the suprise and ask me why the cost was $62.93 instead of a much lower price.
He told me that the operator taking the order told him that the reason it cost so much was because he had to pay 6.99 for each item that came with the package to be shipped.....the machine, hand held machine, foot padel, adapter, spool kit, ect.....and said it should take 4 to 6 weeks.WHAT A RIP OFF.
So I called and tried to find out why that happened and was told I had to wait 48hrs, so I did and contacted customer service first of all, I found out the machine was on back order and I would not get it in the time stated & they told me that the company taking orders was at fault and to call them once i did they told me that the so smart co. was responsible, finally i just told them to cancel the order completely , cause I could get it alot cheaper at ebay anyway....lol
