Soil Stabilization Products Company Inc SSPCO unpaid freight bills Merced California
Attention All Carriers, Freight Brokers and Buyers
My company is presently suing in Federal Court for over twenty thousand dollars in unpaid Freight invoices. We shipped two truckloads of paving material from CA to Long Island NY. The job site is a Federal Park site.
Because SSPCO would not discuss payment with us, we filed Federal suit against the Receiver/contractor under Carmack Regulations.
We are awaiting a court decision whether or not we are a contractor under Federal Laws. The non payment is over a year past due.
Carmack says both parties to a Freight transaction are equally responsible for payment. So if you are thinking of buying from them be careful. If you provide carriage only - accept wire transfers before shipment.
