I received a email from a colleague alerting me that this posting had been placed by a former customer and appeared on rip off report. I am sorry I did not check this sooner but was not aware this website existed or that a former customer may have filed something here. I am happy to address this issue and we make customer service our top priority with every customer if with past orders however old and recent.
Our return policy is clearly articulated on the site and we hope that all customers will review this before they order and items and the item is shipped. The reason a restocking fee is assessed is because the items are custom ordered at the time of shipment. This particular item was not a product we had in stock but the customer ordered it and we direct shipped it from the manufacturer. We do this in order to lower costs to our customers and to be in a position to offer a broader range of products.
I am sorry the customer did not find the item consistent with their expectations. It sounds like from the posting the customer was offered a return in a manner in keeping with our sites return policy but found that unsatisfactory.
