I was interviewed and hired in December. Promises were made by the company that were never done.


When i was let go in February i was told that my last pay would be in the next pay run. I have this on an email. Well i never got my check and get a run around when i do get in touch with a live person rather than voice mail. I have no sour grapes about getting let go. I do feel that a company that doesn't pay its employees is not a trustworthy .

This company does NOT pay their employees well at all. The cabinets are overpriced and as a salesperson you have to Lower the price SO much that you barely get any commission on them at all.

When they advertise a discounted Sale, The employee is expected to take a lower commission ALL day long. They have no regard for the salespeople in the showrooms that get up everyday and drive to the showrooms and sit there and PRAY someone walks in the door to buy a kitchen. Only to find out we can be undercut by any other company out there selling RTA cabinets from China. 

They are even undercutting us ONLINE with a sham website that sells for less than we do in the stores. Those guys get paid commission too. So there is no honor here. Their answer is treat your home office company just like any other competitor. They tell them to go into the showrooms to see the cabinets , waste the fellow employees time and then call us back to order from us for less.

The training is horrendous. They barely teach you anything at all , you get introduced to people and really are not shown how to design a kitchen fully on the software program. And if you try and call the home office for help , NOONE answers the phone. They don't even have a designated department to help salespeople with design questions. So you put the order in and if it's wrong you are charged exhorbitant fees back for lack of training. 

I can't even tell you how bad this company is. They are ALWAYS out of stock on every product they have. We have to lie to people and pretend we have the cabinets just to get the sale, so we can possibly eat next month, as that is how they do commissions, monthly. Then we are tasked with Customer Service issues and backorders for NO pay whatsoever. They are overwhelmed , understaffed and are ruthless evil people that don not care about anyone but themselves. NO happy employees here. We have to work 45-50 hours a week to man the stores with no lunch or breaks and no one comes in for ZERO dollars, and are expected to handle customer service also.

You will never get a check when you leave because you don't ever make enough to cover the initial draw they gave you to give it a shot. They lied and said the cabinets sell themselves and the prices are great! Well I assure you that is NOT the case! 

When you do get a check they don't like to explain how they have arrived at their decision to pay you X amount of dollars and if you question it , you are bothering them.

There's so much more to write about the unscrupulous business practices, this is just a sampling.
