This guy had advertised on the radio to use a product that will reduce energy cost, the paint was TexCote.
But it was all a scam. he and the contractor who's license he was working under (David Hunt) they turned around and applied a bit of the TexCote with home-depot paint and watered it down. (at a fraction of the cost)
We had TexCote come out to do field test on the paint, and in the end refused to give us the results.
We filed a complaint on them (David Hunt, Sonny Leonard & Andy Lopez) to the State contractors board.
It has been 2 years and while they have had their license suspended, and files of Aiding & Abetting, doing business as an un-licensed contractor and financial injury etc..,
We have a home with an estimate of $100,000 to repair, and the $16,500 they received (stole) and the attorney’s fees of $10,000, totaling $126,500.00 loss and injury and our home is still in dis-repair, and the Insurance companies are giving us the run-around, The bond company states his client is denying it.
We have put everything we had into this home, and now have nothing left to fix it,,,What a nightmare!!
I do not recommend this company! Leonard's coatings and windows, Sonny Leonard Remodeling, Cal-State Remodeling, David Hunt Construction or whatever name they are using these days! BEWARE!
