Sonoma Resort at Saddlerock AMC LLC Fradulent Billing Practices Aurora, Colorado
This company engages in disreputable if not entirely illegal billing practices. After moving out I was presented with a massive bill for repairs including repainting and carpet replacement. After contacting several local businesses providing in those services I found that this company was setting their price at 2-3 times cost.
Additionally, I overpaid my final month's bill and was told they would use the excess payment for any repairs necessary and if anything was left over it would be returned with my deposit. And then things get really shady. They never indicated it in the letter they sent to me as part of the money they were holding to use for repairs. At this point they they are at risk for, or already have committed false accounting fraud by hiding documentation by falsifying or hiding documentation reporting this payment.
