I have had it with Sony products. Purchased a Sony Blu-Ray player BDP-s360 and the laser that plays the discs burned out. it will now only play dvds - after only 9 months. $100 to repair per tech support.

I had just purchased to bluray movies and could not watch them. luckily, i thought, one had digital copy and one had the new ultraviolet. both were sealed and new from best buy, but both digital copy and ultraviolet codes were not valid --- interesting - both Blurays also happened to be by Sony. Customer service basically called me a liar saying that I had already used the codes....

If that was the case - I'd be watching a movie and not sitting on hold for you... sent in an email inquiry on Tuesday - nothing yet.

I've never used digital copy or uv before i tried this... i prefer jsut to watch bluray on my big screen...but this has become quite the hassle. I wish they would just drop the price of the bluray - cause I don't need the digital copy and dvd that seems to be included with every one now.
