South Lakes High School Child's cafeteria money stolen Reston Virginia
I gave my son $200.00 for lunch. He got into a fight with some students and was suspended from school for 10 days. During that time, students used his lunch card number and used up all the money. When my son returned from being suspended, he had no money in his account. The school said it was not their fault. I said that if I knew students just had to give out a number, i would have given him money everyday.
My son said he never gave out his number, and the list is easily in view for kids to steal. I went to the cafeteria, and sure enough, the list was right by the cash register - i picked it up - looked at it - and no one said a word.
I demanded the school reimburse me, and they said no. It was my child's fault.
