South Pavers Pavers Plus Pool This is a scam company run by Adrian Marshall to rip off customers in south florida Margate Florida
In August 2015, I contacted Mr Adrian Marshall to work on my driveway and repair my pool. I signed 2 contracts. The first contract to repair my pool and the second one for my driveway. Mr Marshall required 50% deposit to buy materials and start the job. For the driveway contract : $ 5,764.80 , 40% of a total of $14,412 to do the driveway was given to Mr. Marshall and for the pool and windows 50% of the total cost of the job was given to Mr. Marshall and his associate Ruben.
The pool and windows job started about 2 weeks later and Mr. Marshall required another 25% as soon he started, which was given to him as well. Then he stopped. One month later, I had to hire a lawyer forcing Mr. Marshall to come back and finish the work for which he had already received 75% of the money. He brought some contractors who started to ask me to pay them to work since Mr. Marshall does not pay them. To finish my pool, I had to pay the contractors another 15% so I could get my pool done. He was supposed to come back and seal the deck. This has not happened so far.
As far as the driveway, Mr Marshall never started but continues to hold the $5764.80 deposit that was paid to him. He requires another $4300 to start the job. I told him no. This is complete rip off. He sent me an email once letting me know his partner took the money to buy the materials. Basically my deposit is lost!
When I investigated his company and the license number he is working under. I found this is a fradulent company. Mr. Marshall operates under the general contractor license CGC 1522406, which belongs to Pavers Plus Pools. When I contacted the owner of the company, he informed me Mr. Marshall had been doing fradulent businesses under his company name and license and was advised by his lawyer to stop doing that.
South Florida is full of contractors that have only one goal to rip off homeowners. South Pavers is definetely one of them.
