Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Took an order for him to arrange delivery of a car in 7-10 days. Contract he sent then let him out of this delivery promise with terms and conditions that said nothing about a propmt delivery. Verbally he said he would get the job done. He then asked for an additional $200 to expedite delivery-name your delivery date. Immediately charged our credit card. For 30 days the car was not picked up. Twice he sent e-mails saying the car was picked up and when we asked for a delivery date he said he made a mistake. We then cancelled the order and 2 days later the car was picked up. Okay, so the car was delivered. Next credit card bill came and he charged for expedited services.

His communications are short and rude-even telling us to stop sending e-mails when his e-mails were wrong. After we cancelled the oder he sent new terms and conditions about cancellation charges that were not on original contract. He was supposed to contact us 24 hours prior to pick up and 24 hours prior to delivery. He contacted us hours before the pickup and we called to find out about the delivery.

The guy is a rude, crude jerk.

As you will learn in the Redding Newspaper that this fool is now in the hands of federal authorities for over 350 counts of mail and wire fraud and is being held without bond. Do your research before going with just price.

Lynne....do YOU read the REPORTS?

....you accuse the customer of generating complaints caused by "not reading the contract". You're making a fool of yourself by the statements made in your sophomoric, ascerbic attack on the others. . I would suggest YOU read the foregoing reports about Southerland Transport. The complaints are truly legitimate, and certainly of more substance than your sorry a$$ contribution. . I.E.: Southerland brokers (sublets) all business. With their $200. "cancellation fee" they make as much doing NOTHING as having the vehicle actually delivered for their $200. cut. The slime ball is obviously low-balling quotes, as he makes $200. either way. The lower his "quote" the more likely the customer will get to ultimately pay the "cancellation fee". . If this's over your head, have someone explain it to you. In your asinine clich about Burger King is singularly dumb. Why can't customers "have it their way"? It's their money put towards a contract that SHOULD be properly executed. . Your two sentence tirade replete with glaring errors in grammar, structure and syntax fails make a case in support of Southerland. In a word: DUMB.

Consumers Never Read Their Contracts

The whole problem with this complaint as it is with most complaints aginst companies is the consumer does not read their contract they think the world owes them something and they can just order companies around and bad mouth them and that will get them somewhere. The transport business is not like going to Burger King they cannot have it their way.
