SouthWest Bullion & Coin I bought 5 coins through a Proxibid auction on April 6th from Justin at Southwest Bullion, never shipped or credited. Houston Texas
I won an auction with Justin at Southwest Bullion and Coin April 6th 2013 for a small lot of five coins.
After a couple weeks and not recieving coins, I emailed Justin...No response.
After another week, I called Justin, he said he could only find one of the coins, but that he would locate and send them.
After a couple more weeks, still no coins, I filed a complaint with Proxibid, the auction hosting site. Justin emailed back quick, with the anser of shipping me the one coin he has, but still charging full shipping. I replied I didn't want one coin, with shipping that is 4x the cost of the coin. He credited my credit card for 4 coins, but not the 5th or the shipping.
After a couple more weeks, still no coin. I emailed and he said he credited my account. But, he never shipped me anything. Not that I wanted it at that point. But he never responded.
I am now approaching three months since the auction, still no coin or full refund.
Truly a sad way to run a business, because here is the kicker.....We are talking less than $15 credit owed me.
At this point it is the principle of the matter, he is probably ripping off several people, and this is why the coin business is so frustrating and it is people like him that give it the bad reputation it has.
