Southwest Vanlines Inc. Possible connection with Budget Vanlines DISHONEST and INFLATED PRICING. Las Vegas Nevada
I called Budget Vanlines to receive a quote. After going over each individual item that I wanted to be included in the move, Matt the rep. gave me a quote of $3046.00. Since the pricing was right I decided to go with Budget Vanlines. At no point did they inform me that they were a BROKAGE service and not a moving service. On the day before the scheduled move, I was informed that SOUTHWEST VANLINES would be my moving carrier. The movers arrived with a very small truck and had to rent a second truck to complete my move.
Once I received the final bill I noticed I was charged $1100 for the second truck alone and another 2386.00 to have the stuff in it delivered. Long story short, my initial quote was $3046.00 and the final charge was $6892.69. Big difference. I would advise anyone who is considering using Southwest Vanlines or is given a referral to use them by Budget Vanlines. Please insist on a binding contract. As you will be charged triple the amount and find bogus escalated charges on your final contract. Again please reconsider using SOUTHWEST VANLINES INC. Las Vegas, NV.
