WARNING DO NOT BUY ANY SOYO PRODUCTS FROM TIGERDIRECT THAT HAVE A REBATE..

Rebate for SOYO case and motherboard from Tiger Direct for the amount of $70.00. Soyo says I sent invalid UPC code. I have sent many rebates and I never have had any trouble with wrong UPC. I also have 2 more outstanding rebates for $25.00 sent in 9/35/04 got nothing yet.

I purchased a Soyo Mid Tower Case w/350Watt PS (Key,Mouse,Spk) from Tiger Direct in September 2004 for $59.99 + $21.42 for shipping. The advertised promotion was for a triple rebate totaling $60.00 (3 @ $20.00). I mailed the (3) rebate forms in separate envelopes on different days in the proper time frame with all requested documentation included (which I have copies of). I still don't see my rebate information on the rebate website. I have tried several times to contact Soyo via email and phone have not been able to reach someone or get a response to rectify my situation. I started to get suspicious about SOYO's rebate process when the SOYO rebate center email address and recorded message was changed. It now stated that they are not responsible for lost mail ...etc. Well, in my case I have (3) individual rebates mailed at different times. I don't think the US Postal Service could lose all of them. I have the same problem for another SOYO rebate for a K7VME/AMD motherboard bundle I purchased from mwave.com in September 2004. I mailed the rebate in the proper time frame with all requested documentation included. I still don't see my rebate information on the rebate website. This item had a $40.00 rebate. So now I'm out $100.00. Unfortunately, Soyo is probably going to be looking at a class-action lawsuit if things don't change. All you need to do to see the scope of the problem is go to www.google.com and type in SOYO and rebate as the search criteria. The information speaks for itself. At this point I will give SOYO the benefit of the doubt and give them an opportunity to resolve these rebate issues. What address should I send copies of my submitted information to ??? If my situation is not resolved however, I am filing complaints with the FTC, SEC, BBB, http://www.ifccfbi.gov (Internet Fraud Complaint Center) and forwarding this information to the news media & stock reporting services so that SOYO stockholders know what is going on. I am also contacting Tiger Direct & mwave.com and make sure they are aware of what is going on. This is a bad reflection on them especially if they will not stand behind the advertised rebates. I encourage others in my situation do the same if their rebates are not honored. I hope you are forwarding this information to upper management to get these issues resolved for the loyal customers who purchase your products, like me.

NOW - If you have gone to www.VerifyRebate.com and it states that your rebate has been approved, if it should have been approve, or if it had been removed, please send an e-mail with all of your information, to [[email protected]][email protected][/E]and one of our customer service representatives will verify the status and send you a note with information to satisfy the request. If you have any other inquiry please also email to [email protected]. Please make sure to include your information such as first name, last name, mailing address, store name, product model number, and purchase date as registered on the rebate form in the email. To expedite service, please email us if it has been 16 weeks of the rebate program postmark date, as shown on your rebate Again, I deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to our loyal customers, and look forward to resolving any issues / concerns in the future and are always listening to what you have to say.
