Word on the street is that Spinnaker/French Quarter/Palace View/Regency is doing a CORPORATE BUYOUT. This means it will be the SAME OWNERS and the SAME SAD STORY, just under a different NAME. Same rip off with a new name since their current name is WORTHLESS in Branson!

Worst reputation in town!!!!

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Mon, August 11, 2008

All the previous reports filed here by the same author, "Judy", are the rantings of an extremely disgruntled ex-employee. No company is perfect, and believe me, this one makes it's share of mistakes, too. But, if you spend more time whining on the job, complaining about everything, running down the company on their time and not giving 100% towards the responsibilities of your job, you will quickly become an ex-employee, just as "Judy" did. I worked for French Quarter / Regency Resorts (now Spinnaker) (happily) for over a year and found that with this company, like most others, the overall experience you perceive as an employee is directly relative to the quality of work you provide. And herein lies "Judy's" problem..... Yes, there were poor management mistakes, and some unhappy customers. Regency did, however, try to make things right the best they could in most cases. If you are familiar with timeshare and how it is marketed, you know that guests can sometime be promised the moon, and misled about the sales presentation by outside marketing companies that sell their tours to the timeshare company. It is difficult to sometimes wade through what someone was actually promised, and what they 'think' they were promised. Unfortunately, "Judy" was on the 'gifting' end of the sales presentation process, and that can be a demanding job. You are tasked with providing the guest with everything they were promised, and if they are dissatisfied, it is to you that they most vigorously complain about their experience. Working in this department requires a high level of customer service and problem-solving abilities. It is not a job for everyone. Once it became clear to the company that "Judy" was obviously lacking in the needed skill sets, she was dismissed. That's when all the rapid-fire onine slams on this site against the company began. Tsk, tsk, "Judy"......this is almost as unprofessional as you sitting in your car at the entrance to the property displaying your silly handmade protest signs on neon poster board against the company. It did nothing but prove that the company had made the correct decision in re-staffing that department. .
