Sprint PCS deceptive advertizing, and horrible customer service, the business that doesn't give a dam London, Kentucky
It's too bad Sprint does not care about making its customers happy. I recently purchased a service contract with Sprint PCS only to find out that I can not use my Sprint PCS phone in my Los Angeles home because the signal is too weak. Even in the back yard of my home the service cuts out almost constantly.
After talking to many of our neighbors we have found that both Verizon and AT&T works well in our neighborhood and even inside our neighbor's and our home. Other than this major issue, I was very pleased with the service, and all the cool features Sprint has. However, not having service in my home really makes the deal sour as anyone could imagine.
Considering our service problems, I tried to cancel my service contract. Initially, Sprint said they would work with me.
Then I was transferred to cancellations, and I was told that they would not wave the cancellation fee of $150. Furthermore they would not do anything to make up for the inadequate service ( I suggested free roaming so we could use our phone at home).
Basically I was told I must pay for service that does not even work! I was outraged. While it's true the contract specifies that service is not guaranteed in structures and all areas, I thought Sprint would understand the importance of keeping customers happy.
I especially would have never thought that the service could possibly be so poor considering that I live in the city of Los Angeles.
Both Verizon, and AT&T have excellent signals in or area, and work spectacularly in our home. Now Sprint has at least two customers who will NEVER BUY ANOTHER SPRINT PRODUCT for the rest of their lives!
I hope that's worth the $150 to their company considering the many thousands of dollars we would likely have spent with Sprint over the rest of our lives.
All I can say about Sprint is that if you have a problem, they don't care. They seem totaly unwilling to do ANYTHING to please their customers. If you have an option STAY AWAY FROM SPRINT PCS

As you stated in your complaint, it says in the terms and conditions that coverage may not be provided in all areas. Wireless phones work off of towers, and have between 2 - 5 mile radius of coverage. The reason Sprint PCS does not work in your home is either because you must live more than 2 miles from a tower OR you live inbetween towers where there is no overlapping coverage. Verizon and AT&T work because there is a tower close to you. It really is that simple. In addition, Sprint PCS gives you 14 days to try out the service; if it will not work for you, you simply return everything and only pay activation costs and minutes used. They're not out to rip you off or scam you.
