Sprint PCS ripoff dishonest unaccessible unorganized runaround fraudulent billing ripoff business from hell Louisville Kentucky
In July of this year I ordered my Sprint PCS phone and cellular service online. My phone (Samsung flip phone)was giving me major problems. I called Sprint everyday because my phone continued to roam and my internet did not work. After 2 weeks I was told to take the phone into one of the stores so it could be tested. The Sprint store tested my phone and found out that my phone would not work because of software damage.
I was then told that I could bring my phone with all of the shipping materials to the store and they would replace it. At this time I informed the store that I did not have my shipping receipt because I had sent it back for my rebate. The initial store that I went to was not opened when I attempted to take the phone back and the other Sprint store I went to would not take it back. After 3 weeks of getting the runaround, I cancelled my service. I was told by Sprint customer service at that time that I would not be charged a cancellation fee and I could take my phone to any Sprint store and return it since I purchased it online.
No sprint store would take my phone back. I was given a bogus address in Atlanta to mail my phone. My phone sat on someone's desk for a month before they shipped the phone back to me. I was then told to obtain a bubble package from a Sprint store and send my phone to the Louisville address. This was done on September 30, 2002. My credit card still has not been credited.
To add to this mess, I was billed a cancellation fee even though I was told that I would not have one. In addition to the fact that my phone was no longer in my possession. The cancellation fee was $175 but the phone was worth over $240. I am still being billed late charges by Sprint PCS even though my service was disconnected in July and they have my phone.
If this company is not a rip off I do not know what is!
