In March of 2014 I purchased 2 pr of no line bifocals. Upon picking them up in April 2014. I expressed not seeing well and was told by the person servicing me that I needed to hold my head straight and just look down with my eyes ( I have worn bifocals for 5-7 yrs at this point)
over the course of the next 10 months I had increasing issues withmy sight. Thinking my glasses were new it must be my eyes. In March of 2015 I returned to my optician to find that my eyes were not the problem but the glasses I had puchased. Not only were they made incorrectly, the 2 pr were each different so that the prescription was made wrong in different ways for each pair.
I presented to the store requesting my money back. Stanton Optical not only does not refund your cost but also informed me that to have the lens replaced with correct prescription I would need to pay 20% charge for each set of lens. My answer was NO!! I had ask to speak with the manager on the day I went in to voice my concerns and thought that is who I did speak with. The card this young man gave me listed the Manager as "Tucker" But in fact that was not who I spoke with but an assistant.
my phone call to the corporate office to complain was even less rewarding. The lady I spoke with let me know that if I waited 10 months to complain that was not an issue they would address.
Serversl days later I spoke with "Alexis" who ask that I consider allow this store to remake my glasses at no charge. I attempted to call Alexis back to discuss this an at the Evansville store "Danielle" told me she was out and call back in a month.( there is that customer service again) when I called the number I had for Alexis I spoke with a young man from Michigan that told me the best he could do was email 2 other stores in an attempt to get my name, phone number, and message to Alexis. So far, no return call. Surprise?!?!
So now I have 2 pr of glasses that i can not see out of and no one that cares because they have their money and truly Customer Service is of NO concern to this organization
$545.00 worth of advice avoid this organization and specifically the Evansville, IN Morgan avenue location just throw your Money out he window At least you will see it for a minute!
