Starbiz Wilhemina infant baby child modeling photoshoot SCREAMED AT ME liar Scottsdale Arizona
I've written a note before...and here is another.
My son was "chosen" probably around July... well, since they we've been dealing with some pretty significant medical issues, including decreased ability to be around other children for risk of infection to others or self.... so we've had to cancel 2 photo shoots already.
Numerous phone messages have been left for Bruce with no return call.
I finally got in touch with him a few weeks ago and he SCREAMED at me on the phone. Yelled and yelled and yelled about "no refund" and "I will not return any money ever!" Screaming.
Really, he was screaming.
I was and am appauled at his behavior. I would not expect that type of behavior from the emotionally disturbed and developmentally delayed children that I work with. It was explosive, aggressive, accusational and offensive.
He actually said "Well, will your son be sick forever?" In my mind, I really really hope not. But what kind of professional who works with children and families would have this type of attitude and aggresive nature?
Oh, and then he hung up on me.
I'm actually slightly frightened to go into the office for a photo shoot in case Bruce's behaviors "light up" again.
I've paid the $685. And unforutnately, it doesn't seem to be coming back to me.
PATRICK:::::::::::::::::::: Did you go on any paying photo opportunities? Have you had any direct contact with Bruce?
I'm going to file with the attorney generals office, I've left messages for the local TV stations with regards to this ripoff... but as much as I want him stopped, I also want my money back... I don't know if we'll ever get to a photo shoot and I"m not sure the safety of our family is worth it.
Is there a way on ripoff reports to get in contact with each other by email or phone... will ripoff report help us get in contact to address this issue further?

Here are the dates and times I plan to picket: Saturday, November 6th 9am - 1pm Wednesday, November 10th 10am - 1pm Thursday, November 11th 10am - 1pm I will have flyers made for everyone to hand out. See you there!

I went to Wilhemina today with my daughter and they did the same thing with me. I am suposed to have a meeting there tommorow. However, I like to know what is going on so I started to read on the internet and found these postings. Can nothing more be done??? Can we not even get the Arizona Republic to do a story??? We could at least post at our churches or grocery stores, couldn't we??? I can't stand dishonest people and they are preying on people that are trying to give their children new opportunities. Thanks for saving me a lot of money!!!!!!!!!!!

To everyone following these reports, I posted on another report that I may exercise my right to picket on the sidewalk in front of Starbiz. My wife thinks it is a bad idea as she would be concerned for my safety. I think that if others are willing to picket with me, she would feel better about it. So what do you say, anyone else up for a picket within the next few weeks? Please rebuttal and let me know. If I get it organized, I will post the dates and times here. Date and time will be posted here.

Sharon, Bruce is a hot head. He also yelled at my wife once when she was asking questions. She was not even asking for our money back at the time. Bruce offered us two paying photo shoots back at the beginning of September. Unfortunately, they only paid $120 each, and we declined them. Come to find out, he was most likely paying for them himself. And it was for the same stupid, ugly, tie-dyed clothes that she posed in the first time. My question was, if they pay now, why didn't they pay the first time? I have filed with the AZ Attorney General and the FTC. I also submitted story ideas to Channel 3 and Channel 5. Channel 5 replied saying that this sounds like the same group they investigated some months ago. The EDitor of this website said he works closely with them, and would provide them everyone's contact information. So hopefully, something will happen there. By the way, I hope your son gets better soon. Hopefully it is not something serious. I will update my original report as necessary. Pat Gagnon.
