This is hotel is not only old. It is a Historical Landmark. No, its not The Hilton. But the old neon sign out front with the woman diving into a splash of water, is CLASSIC! Its from the 50's!! Everyone who has ever driven down Main street in Mesa at night probably remembers this sign. It probably made them smile just a little. Mesa, has changed their zoning and signage requirements over the years, but becuase this hotel sign is such a landmark, it was grandfathered. I am sorry that the person who choose this hotel was not able to appreciate the historical significance of the hotel and its rooms. And they did provide a heater! I do quite a bit of traveling, and have stayed at some big fancy resort hotels where the A/C or Heat was broken, the hotel was booked and they did not get it fixed while I was there.
