State Trust Inc FRAUD ALERT!!! Scam Letter and Check From State Trust Inc... DON'T TRUST THEM!!! Winnipeg Winnipeg Manitoba
On Monday October 27, 2008 I received a generic letter in the mail, from State Trust Inc. stating that I had won $250,000 as a winner of a consumer promotion.
I needed to contact my claims agent Victor Martins or Cathy Hunter at 778-881-0246 to get instructions on claiming my money, that would be provided to me via certified check, delivered by a courier.
All I needed to do was take the enclosed check written on Sturdy Savings Bank, for $4958.45, and pay $3950 of it to my tax agent Doris Hopkins, 45 Flannell Street Dauphin, MB Canada, R7N2A2.
This is a total scam...I work for a bank and know all about these scams. If you receive any correspondence like this contact law enforcement, and whatever you do...DO NOT DEPOSIT THIS CHECK INTO YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT!
