I dont or never workd for the company, but I do work for one of their competitors...... Unfortunately, your husband was the only one there. If you would have given them some of your time, you would totally understand the not all windows are the same.....thats like saying a cadilac should be the same price as a hyndai......good luck with your 300.00 dollar windows....not only will you be NOT saving any money on your energy bills (or very very little) you will be replacing them so many times that you end up spending more than the 1500.00 window. maybe you are rich enough to afford a 300.00 window...i dont know!!!! you obviously have plenty of time to write on this board ,,,,, but you dont have enough time to listen to a salesman that might be able to explain the differnces between a 300.00 and a 1500.00 window. someone that knows what their talking about!!!

Wow! Perceptions can be different for the same thing. My experience with Statewide was pleasent. I was told that it would take 60 to 90 minutes, but also it could depend on the size of the house and how many questions I had. My "two" representatives, did the same thing. They measured and inspected my windows, they did an energy audit on my home, showed me where I was loosing most of my energy. They showed me the benefits of a new window system, and also gave me bids on several different groups of windows that included their own as well as other windows to be fare. Some other windows were more expensive, like the wood clad windows. I decided not to go with those because they have two different materials that expand and contract at different rates, leading to common seal failures. I've seen that for myself in many homes. They showed me windows that were cheaper than there's as well too. Ultimately, I CHOSE the one that best fit my needs, and it was their window. It is a bit pricey but it is better than any other window available for thermal efficency. I also CHOSE to sign contracts. Nobody can force me to do anything. Weak minded people tend to be THAT way. Yes they had a retail price, and yes they had discounts that made complete sense. As a businessman, I appreciated the fact that they are in business to make money too, and that seeing many many home owners a second time cost their company money, thus a discount they offer to those that felt comfortable with moving forward the first night. I never felt pressure at all, and if I did, its my house, I would have simply asked them to leave. I also appreciated the fact that they hire no subcontractors, that they do their own installation. They did a great job! I would recommend them. As I've ben in sales, I understand how this process goes, and my sales reps were very professional. I have the best window, with the best warrenty, and best installation, and I did not spend it on the nmost expensive window. They were in the middle. I've done research on them, and I've found that most complaints come from people who dont own their window. I've never seen one from their clients who do. I'm happy.
