Staton Optical 8 pairs of glasses 5 broke any were from the clerk removing them from the case to owning them for less than 48 hrs. I am now wearing glasses from 10 yrs ago because 2yrs later my glasses from Staton optical are so cloudy I can barely see through them Evansville Indiana
I went to Stanton optical which was a new place of business in my town, because they offered free eye exams and I had no insurance.the optometrist was very friendly and had no issues with her I picked out a pair of eyeglass frames and ordered my new glasses.this was at the beginning of March. I told them I needed them before April 4th because I was going out of town for 3 weeks. I was told they would be in the last week of March. glasses finally arrived on April 3rd. pick them up and came home. the frames broke within 2 hours. went back to Staton and made them put my lenses into the display frames. the main purpose for my trip what's to help my elderly parents drive home from Texas to Michigan. I could only drive during daylight hours because there was no anti glare applied to my glasses so I could not see at night. when I got home I went back to Staton and had them send my lenses back to apply the anti-glare.
My 3rd,4th, 5th, and 6th pair frame broke within 48 hrs. Went to pick up the 7th pair and they broke before the clerk got them out of the glasses case.Need less to say I lost it at this time. was I not quiet about how I felt of this establishment. an optometrist came out of the back and calmed me down. (management would not come near me after the second or third time of being there. ) she was very nice told me they were not carrying those frames anymore. even though there were a whole new set of then in the display case. she help me pick out a new frame.iandthrew in a pair of prescription sunglasses at no charge. I had already paid them $325 .00 Now after 2 years of owning these glasses I have reverted to wearing my glasses from 10 years ago. the Staton optical glasses have become so cloudy I can barely see through them.our store here in Evansville Indiana has big glass windows around the front and sides of the building. I still have an urge to this day to throw a large rock straight through them.
