Buyer Beware!! After messing around and searching the web one early morning, I found a link to what seemed to be a reputable article done by a news reporter on the benefits of acai berry supplement.  How stupid am I? I read through the article and bought the deceptive advertising...hook, line and "stinker."

I thought I was ordering a "Free Trial." Once I got to the last "click" to order my "Free Trial," I realized that I authorized $99.96 plus $1.19 Lifetime Access Acaioptimum Plan. Immediately, I contacted the merchant and my credit card company to cancel the order.  Sterling Solutions/Acaioptimum's only response was that I would lose my rebate option if I cancel the order before 40 days and they proceeded to ship the order any way.  My credit card company, US Airways Mastercard, cancelled my credit card and reissued me a new one to stop the Acaioptimum from charging my account.  I returned the product to AZ address.  All to no avail.  My credit card company reversed that original action and put through the charge 3 weeks later on the new credit card number.

After researching further, I see there are hundreds of people just like me and a previous AZAG investigation 1-2 years ago.  I have now filed a claim with the AZAG's office and I am continuing to dispute the charge with my credit card company.  Not sure if more fraudulent charges will appear or more supplements will be shipped. This is maddening. Although I thought I would be safe by cancelling this order in 3 days (pretty standard language for USA), the terms and conditions state the governing law is Sarnen, Switzerland. If this error in judgement only costs me $100, I will probably be lucky. This is a lesson to me and I hope to others. I will never order another "Free Trial" from the web.
