I bid on a trip on submitprice.net, I have done this SEVERAL times in the past with Priceline, Hotwire and others - but this one struck my eye because the airfare was SO much cheaper for a trip to Vegas. I bid on one trip and got no reply - bought another one straight out and I got an error after entering my credit card number(which I found out from Discover card was not a REAL error).

I immediately called Discover and cancelled my card as stolen/lost due to the fact that they also would not answer my emails or phone calls whatsoever... I got a reply telling me to check back in a few hours for my ticket numbers -GUESS WHAT?! It's been 4 days and no replies from them - I emailed them telling them I KNEW they were scamming me and stole my credit card number -and guess what?! NO REPLY! Please do not buy or bid from this so called company - it's a scam! Thank GOD I was smart enough to cancel my card right away.

I've made it through their "system", so it is possible, seems illegal to me, and I don't believe them.

When I received the email saying my credit card was denied, I was really angry, because this can't be true. However when the Western Union appeared... I've emailed them that this seems illegal to me, and I don't believe them. Then I got another email saying that if I am certain I want these tickets they would issue them PRIOR to payment, so I confirmed, as I really loved the price. Then I received an confirmation number, called the airline and checked online, everything was ok. So when I paid for my tickets they were allready issued and I was not scamed. I don't know whether they were going to do this anyway, but being cautios allways helps. I'll use their services again.

Dear Kari, After investigation of the problems encountered by our customers today it seems that the payment gateway we are using is not capable to meet our demand and is no longer processing our orders. We are making progress in signing new merchant contract with one of the available payment gateways but they all require fat contracts and it will take a while before everything is set up and working. All new requests are put on hold and we want to clear all currently not-paid duties(users that have agreed to our terms) via the only acceptable option I\'ve found - the Western Union system. They offer secure and high privacy online credit card payments. Please go to: https://www.westernunion.com/asp/mtReceiver.asp and make the amount payable with Expedited Availability to my manager, currently on a bussines trip in Europe: All taxes and fees are to be covered by our company so please reduce them from the total amount(353.96 USD). Meanwhile, it is very important to send the Western Union Money Transfer Control Number, as well as the exact amount transfered addressed to [email protected] with a CC to [email protected] and [email protected]. Thanks for understanding and sorry for the inconvenience! TRUST ME, I EMAILED THEM BACK AND TOLD THEM IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS THAT THEY WOULD NOT GET ONE PENNY FROM ME! PLEASE BEWARE EVERYONE!!!
