My Suddenlink Internet bill just jumped 23% from $60.59 to $74.74 a month. There's also added a new "network enhancement fee" of $2.50 which means my monthly service invoice for Internet-only service surged 27.5% in just one month. This is an outrageous increase. Sadly, I live in a city/state where there's virtually no competition, so they kind have their customers over a barrel.
As more and more people ditch cable-TV and go to streaming services, I'm sure this trend will continue. Unfortunately, there's not much recourse to the ever- rising prices of cable and Internet services because the FCC doesn't regulate this industry.
