I took out a warranty with this company.  In the 3rd of 6 installment payments I decided to sell the car and cancel the policy.  Summit indicated a full refund was possible if I provided evidence of the current mileage.  I did so properly and it was accepted. I never made a claim to the account - nor did I ever receive any literature from them. But, they sure took my money!!

That was 4 months ago.  I have called 1-3 times per week since.  They have been deceptive, lying and unavailable.  I have placed DOZENS of calls to them and NOT a SINGLE one has been returned.

Go figure, the VP of Customer Relations, Marcy Johnson, has her last job listed online as a bartender.  I can tell you she HAD to be better in that job that this current one.

Bottom line is RUN away from these deceptive companies.  before you enter into ANY agreement like this, talk to your friends.  Never, ever, make a decision like this without some time to think it over.

After over 3 1/2 months, I finally received the check.  I had to complaining to Marcy Johnson, VP of Customer relations to get it.  She never called me back.  Likely a good thing for her.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones.
