Sun Source Financial Management Group ripoff-Winner in British Lotto Calgary Alberta
I received a letter, dated 08/16/06, from the British Gaming Commission stating that my name had been drawn as a winner of the British International Lottery. I was approved to receive lump sum payment of $85,500.
Included with letter was a check for $2,875.45 to pay the international clearance fees of $2,720. Also stated that $5,301 would be deducted from $85,500 to pay the 6.2% Sponsor's Commission, leaving me with $80,199.
To claim my prize I was to contact, via phone, claim agent named Ruth Taylor of Sun Source Financial Management Group. I was also requested not to make this award public until the claim had been processed and the money deposited to my account. I called and left a message where I could be contacted.
My immediate reaction was one of excitement as we are experiencing financial difficulties and this would help a lot. After the initial excitement I began to think if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.
I then decided to get online and check out the company and discovered the rip-off report. I'm very thankful that the only personal information I left was my name and phone number and not my bank account or social security numbers.
