Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We were originally contacted by a Gerald Garcia who claimed to be with Liberty housing Management, about the sale of our timeshare in Cancun Mexico. He is the one who set us up with Jeffrey Mitchell, who claimed to be with Suncoast Title and Escrow out of San Antonio Tx. We were instructed to send a 10% deposit ($3200.00) of the total sale price. Then we were to close on this deal on 6/21/2013.

On or about the 19th. of June, Jeffrey Mitchell calls us again. Now he says that mexico is requiring that on all sales of mexican time shares, the seller "now" has to pay all the fees associated with the sale. He went on to say that this is as much of a suprise to him as it was to us! They (suncoast) close over 400 of these every month, and this is the first time they've ever seen this happen, according to Mr, Mitchell. They wanted another $6500.00! I asked him to send me a copy of his business licence, and a reference that I could call to confirm that they had been paid after paying out the additional 19%, He said he would do it yet that day. We still haven't seen a thing from him.

On or about the 22nd. of June, we get another call from Gerald Garcia wondering where his 6% commision is. I tell him about the conversation with Jeffery Mitchell, with the reference & licence. He told me he'd contact Jeffery and have him get us the info we'd requested. Still not a word from either of them since, and it's the 8th. of July now. I believe we've been SCAMMED HARD! I feel like a school kid, I can't hardly believe I fell for this scam!

I think we were in the exact same boat as you guys with these crooks. I have a feeling these to guys know each other very well.  It was a total scam.  The Garcia man tried to make us feel bad for not paying him his "commission."  Good thing you did not pay them the "fees" the 2nd time.  We paid $3700 upfront, then they wanted another $7500.  Luckily we did not do it.  We realized we were scammed and were able to get it back.  My husband bought a "how to" ebook on geting out of a timeshare.  Timesharesamaritan.com is the site.  It has a paypal money-back guarantee too.  It was worth every penny in my opinion.  The book quoted us about 90 days to get our money back.  I think with this company it took about 2 months.  Just follow the steps, they will think you are trying to put them about of business.  Hope this helps, J.

I contacted this company back in 2011 to sell my royal elite timeshare and paid $598. After checking the company on the internet (I should have done this before utilizing this company), I called and requested a refund. I was reassured they were a company dedicated to their services and not to worry. Needless to say, I have heard from them only once in over a year. I lost my $598 and still have the timeshare I wanted to sell.
