Sunshine Subscription Agency Rip-off magazine and book orders for kids Coral Springs Florida
Last night, there were two kids at my neighbors door. They were talking and laughing and seemed quite friendly. A few minutes later they came to my door. I have never bought anything from a door-to-door saleman but their demeanor through me off.
They told me that they were earning points towards a trip to cancun or $1000 scholarship to the school of their choice. They talked to me about what schooled they wanted to go to and what they wanted to do. They seemed very excited.
They showed me a collection of childrens books that I could get for my daughter. They told me that they had received samples of these books so they could explain them to customers. They sounded wonderful.
I wrote them a check, took my receipts and they left. I felt uneasy immediately after. I looked closer at my receipt and realized that they had written my address down wrong. Being suspicious, I looked online for the company. Not only did I not find a company page, but I found many reports of scams and rip-offs against this company.
I noticed that none of the reports had a phone number for the company. I thought I could help other people by providing it. The first woman I spoke with was very rude so just expect it when calling.
I cancelled my order and faxed it in, but I also stopped payment on the check.
