EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. Rip-off Report will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

Please be patient, we can only tell you what they are telling us.

I am writing to complain about the Superior Benefits, Global Benefits company. In mid Dec 03, I was contacted by a person offering a great way to obtain a credit card to rebuild my credit (I filed bankruptcy in 02 and working at rebuilding my credit). The person was very convincing and I stupidly gave him my bank account # to withdraw the $299 to enroll in the program. The money was withdrawn on the 30th of Dec 03.

Note in the conversation the man told me at anytime I could call back to change the withdrawal date - I did attempt to contact them to change and I was continuously put on hold and one time told after waiting over 30 minutes that the office was closed for the day and try again tomorrow. I was discouraged by this and just let the transaction happen. This money was a majority of my savings I had built up since filing bankruptcy. The man promised me that I would receive the package within 2 weeks - I did not - I called and was told there was some delay and shipping and I would receive it the 2nd week of February.

I did receive it and was totally dissapointed by the package - just a bunch of junk and no credit card. I contacted them and spoke with a very rude person - Jessica Daniels. She was just plain rude and I told her so - I told her I was vulnerable and desparate to get a credit card to repair my credit and I shouldn't of given my bank account # - she in turn told me that I was "stupid" and shouldn't of given my account #! She told me this $ was not refundable and told me that an application from a bank (couldn't tell what bank) would be received in 7-10 days. I called today, 23 Feb 04 as I have not received and they told me it would come in 2-3 weeks. I am not happy with this at all and I want out of this program as well as a refund of my $ ASAP.

I need help to get my money back - I was ripped OFF!
