In December, I received a telephone call from an individual named Allen. He started the conversation by stating that he was calling from "Superior Benefits on behalf on Mastercard". He told me that Mastercard was willing to help me re-establish my credit since, to be honest my credit is far less than perfect. He proceeded to explain that it would be a one time fee of $299.00 and that Mastercard would extend me a line of $2000.

After discussing with my husband, we decided to go ahead with it. I told the guy that I wanted to do it at a later time since it was right before X-mas, and he convinced me that I would have the card some time in January.

My checking account was debited on January 26, 2004, I would be sent a benefits package 15-20 business days later, and I was to recieve my signature page from the bank approximately 3-5 business days after that.

7 weeks have passed, from the time I was charged the money, I received my package on March 17, 2004(they claimed that there was a delay with the shipping). It is almost past the grace period to return the package, and I have not received anything from any bank, the superior benefits phone number is disconnected, and there web site does not exsist. THEY ARE THIEVES!!!
