On 1/18 I bought & paid for a 2 year subscription to Consumer Reports.

Their auction said it can take 8-12 weeks to start.

I filed a paypal fraud alert which they never responded to. I emailed them repeatedly. Their phone # appears to be a voicemail # and its full.

ebay apparently stopped letting people sell subscriptions. These clowns had the GALL to email me telling me I can order more from their website. (Yeah, right)

Paypal/ebay made my fraud report disapear and ebay says its been over 90 days even though it hasnt so theres nothing I can do.

Sadly, they had a lot of positive feedback before they decided to start ripping people off.

Im the guy that posted the above report. Couldnt find anyway to edit what I already wrote. Anyway, after a bunch of emails and paypal refund requests, the guy calls me and offers a refund. 2 days later he called to see if I got the check yet. No, not across the country. I told him I really wanted the magazine and he looked up what happened. Apparently whoever he forwards the subscriptions to has the right to deny them for any reason. But he said they dont contact him for 8 weeks and sometimes not at all. Considering how many emails of mine he ignored, I dont know how true that is. He may have gotten an email notification and not bothered to contact me. Ebay stopped allowing subscriptions to be sold and he kept doing it which made them remove him as a user and suspend his paypal account. (Which just leaves any screwed customer out in the cold) He had plenty of good feedback and I knew that when I ordered so he made me whole...except for having my money for 3 months and me not getting the magazine I wanted. Anyway, the check came friday...it was a billpay payment from his credit union I believe. (San Diego something or another) Unless it bounces, which I dont expect, he too care of me. As for his voicemail, when his ebay account was closed, he had lots & lots of calls and his voicemail only holds 50 he said. So try his phone #. It works. And he knew about this place...not sure If I sent him a copy or ripoff report did or what but that may have helped me get a refund. I used to sell things on ebay and a very small portion of my large volume of customers didnt get their orders on a timely basis through no fault of mine so Im willing to cut the guy some slack...except he ignored MANY emails. Now, where can I get a consumer reports subscription without paying through the teeth ?
