Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My in-laws hired SuperJet Van Lines to move family heirlooms from Florida to Vermont in May. On 6/3, a rental box truck showed up to move the items - the Bill of Lading says "Move For Less, Inc." on it and is signed illegibly by someone. My father-in-law paid SuperJet a deposit with his credit card and then paid the mover an additional amount in cash on 6/3.

As of 8/20/2013 we still do not have our furniture and items. We speak/email with SuperJet every day, usually with a fellow named Brian. We have had multiple promises and "scheduled delivery dates" but no sign of goods. No explanation of why non-delivery keeps happening or when actual delivery will happen or where our items actually are. Countless excuses ranging from "rogue" drivers refusing to drive from New Jersey to Vermont to a driver's face "swelling" and him being unable to make the drive. SuperJet usually informs us that the driver is unable to reach us, has been trying to reach us, but can't. So we're given a phone number to call.

The latest "update" is that our stuff is just 4 hours away. I did a reverse phone number search on the latest driver number given to us, and this number belongs to "No Hassle Moving" out of Wayne, NJ. According to the FMCSA, it's a 1 truck/1 driver operation. (Move For Less is out of Dania, FL and is a 2 truck/1 driver operation, it seems.)

Judging from complaints and reviews on Yelp, Ripoff Reports, MyMovingReviews, and the like, SuperJet is notorious for this sort of behavior, as well as holding goods hostage for more money and blatant failure to deliver goods. Once a month had passed with no sign of our items, and no actual information from SuperJet, my investigation turned up pages of terrible reviews and horror stories. Too late to rectify our situation.

These guys are adept at giving the run-around, at making false promises, and at giving no information. I fully expect that all these "drivers" are just random guys with cell phones sitting in a call-center together. Stuff is just stuff but these are family heirlooms from my in-laws and they are distressed. I am incensed.

I have filed official complaint reports with the FMCSA, the FTC, the Vermont Consumer Assistance Program, the New Jersey Consumer Affairs office, and the Florida Attorney General's Consumer Assistance Program. I have written reviews on various review boards and I am still unsatisfied. Just making complaints or writing bad reviews is not enough. I now consider SuperJet Van Lines to be a criminal outfit who has stolen our items. What other explanation could there be for what's going on?

My next step is to file police reports. I suggest that anyone who has had a similarly horrific experience with SuperJet, regardless of the outcome, file reports with the FMCSA, the FTC, the New Jersey Consumer Affairs office, and their state's Attorney General's office.

If anyone has any other suggestions on how to revoke their license or go at them through regulatory and/or criminal charges channels, I'm all ears!
