OK i am happy to know i was able to find out about the company before i took the job.
I too was almost taken in by this scam! i responded to an ad on craigslist.org about a great marketing opportunity in Elmsford with this "NV INNOVTIONS" company. i basically went on an interview the next day after posting my resume to them and receiving a call that day. I met the manager NICOLE and all seemed great! They called me thta night to go the following week to their SUPREME HOLDINGS GROUP in Garden City for a 2nd interview and day in the field. I thought it was great they want me to spend a day to see if i want the job.
I drive to Garden City with an open mind. I am instantly paired up with this weird yuong kid who fed me lies all day! He sized me up and assumed i was some club girl from Westchester and spit his lies to me about where he likes to party and maybe we can go out sometime.. MIND you he claims to have a girlfriend of 3 yrs.. I AM ENGAGED.. and he somehow lives by me but i have never seen him!! he claims to know my friends and people i dated, i don't know how. He drove me around the dirtiest areas and showed me how to "pitch their sales". he claimed to be the number 1 closer and yet the 30 stores we went to he did nothing and got no sales! I saw right through this kid and his claims of me going through the process and potentially earning $100,000 in 8 months! BS! Everytime i asked questions he got confused and explained things in lies.. when i confronted him about changing the info. he was telling me i misheard him.
Anyways we head back to the office and of course the manager there NADINE offers me a position for the Elmsford location )which she does not even manage) and it seemed odd. She fed me different stories about the company and then i knew to just leave. They called me for 3 weeks telling me i need to come in for paperwork.. wat paperwork i dont want to be in your SCAM!!
Theres TONS of postings all over jobsites and they constantly change names of the company. Also each office i was at was "undergoing rennovation" and "sharing space with another company" at the time. NOTHING seemed legit about the people and small "pack up and go" atmosphere of the place as though it is constantly moving locations.
They also kept me away from every1 else through the day so i guess the lies would not get to me.
This company the guy slipped on and told me is small branches of a main place.. CIGCORP!
The place and people need to be shut down for the SCAM they are running. PEOPLE BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

Everybody who's ever gone through all of the motions of a Cydcor office with the sole intention of being promoted into Ownership has done it. What the people posting these blogs fail to mention is that NOBODY absolutely NOBODY is forcing them to take any position! NOBODY is asking them to murder anybody. A commissions job is paid SOLELY on performance, and for most of the people who have posted bad reviews, their problems were that they weren't making any money. Listen guys if you aren't confident within yourself that you can take a SALES job with a COMMISSION salary, DON'T TAKE IT! Bottom line is yes we INTERVIEW EVERYBODY who applies and yes for the most part everybody is given an opportunity, yet by no way can any of these people tell you that a Cydcor office WRITES your paycheck. YOU DO THAT YOURSELF. If you want to go out there and only work as hard as you would on a salary base job, and think your going to make a substantial amount of money regardless, your highly mistaken. If you work hard you make money that's simply how it is. The methods are not shady the methods are not dishonorable in any way. The methods are proven and are used and very in effect in many if NOT ALL other sales companies whether affiliated with Cydcor or not. A sales job is what you make of it, whether it's SALES at Radio Shack(which is commissions) or a job within a Cydcor office. It just so happens that within Cydcor there's actually a chance of becoming a real decision maker. Do with this information what you will. Just know that out of ALL of the people who post these negative things out here, there are two more if not three people who are currently employed by these "demon offices" and are making good money. Happy in the direction their life is headed.
