I work at the call center that takes these calls. We have people on the phones 24 hours a day. It is true at peak times of the day (between noon and 4 or 5) the call volume can get a bit heavy and the hold time can be quite a while. If you do not have the time to be on hold, then call in on off-peak times. The best is between 8-11PM or early in the morning between 7-9AM. If you are up at all on 3rd shift, all the better as calls are virtually always picked right up. I can tell you that the cancellation process takes about 2 minutes or so and is very painless.
