This photograper was set up in front of a small town grocery store in a different state than his business is located. As I was walking in the store, he approached me about packages for photos. He was offering a discounted session with a setting fee. I purchased two pkgs for my sons and their family. I called the number he gave me to set up the sitting times and spoke to "Amber".
I set one son up for Friday at 6:00 pm and the other on Saturday at 4:00 pm because of their work schedules. My son showed up at 6 pm on Friday for his appt, and Mr. Sussman said he was not on the books for his appt. He was taking photos of other people. He told my son he'd "fit him in" but didn't get to him till 10 minutes till 7:00. My son called me about this because they had plans that night and this was going to mess them up.
So, I called "Amber" and got an answering machine. I left a vm about how she had made the appt yet my son was told there was none. So, I wanted to cancel my other son for Saturday and get a refund. She called back and left a very nasty message telling me these were the days I agreed to, and she had my other son down for Sunday, not Saturday like we had originally set up, and there are no refunds, as stated on the receipt I got from Sussman. The receipt says no such thing!
I returned Ambers call and she answered. She was yelling on the other end, saying no refunds, sorry for the inconvenience but her boss changed the times and it's not her problem. My son went ahead and had his sitting. Mr. Sussman kept repeating how beautiful my granddaughter is and how pretty her dress was, making her very uncomfortable. In the meantime, I reported this to the store owner and filed a complaint. Apparently, there were several complaints about this guy.
Also, I learned he got into an altercation with a delivery person because he was blocking him from stocking the shelves. When my son went back to view his photos, Mr. Sussman told my son I had filed a complaint and that I had screamed and cussed Amber out, which is a blatant lie. My other son did not go to his appt, because of his schedule and the store owner was kind enough to refund my money, and said he will get it from Sussman.
RUN the other way if you see this scammer. Why would a professional photographer have to drive all over the place in small town stores to drum up business if he is legitimate? Why wouldn't he have a legitimate website as a photographer? Why is his professional email account a free aol account? He brags about the vehicles he drives, and it's because of the money he scams from unknowing customers.

This is the most craziest lady on planet earth. Its funny how you lied and cussed out our employee and wrote a bunch of lies to the store owner.She even told the store owner we sat there family in the freezer to wait for there sitting....lol This lady knows nothing about our company .Everyone enjoys our service but every now and then you get a crazy and she is it....See you in court on a slander suit...Lieing a** B.... We service many states and we travel as this creates a since of urgency and people do not need portraits everyday of the week. I have been traveling with Portrait Companies since I was 20 years old and I did 5 Years on the road with Olan Mills ....Was that a scam ???? Stupid B****....Go smoke some more crack....See you in court...Your family was great and spent $200.00 But you need mental help....Keep slandering my name.. I work to hard for you to bring me down......B****
