My dad had been trucking in North Dakota, started with one truck, quickly add another that he had bought in Alabama, great truck! Soon after bought another, again great truck had no problems with either, both were bought over the internet, both were exactly what the sellers said, everything was going great so he decided to buy another one. This one was bought from swat repo! Not a great truck, not even a OK truck!

I was not involved in the details such as money, but do know what happend. dad sent the check as a deposit, he was supposed to pick up the truck in souix falls, sd at one of the truck stops on a Thursday, dad was headed there to look at it and bring it home, he got a call on the way there that the truck wouldn't be there till fri, so they stayed over to pick it up fri. He went to the truck stop where the truck was supposed to be, wasn't there, tried calling swat, didn't awnser, so he drove to the other truck stop, there it was, no one around, tried calling again, no awnser! all the tires but two were skins, the two they took pictures of!

He tried to call again, wouldn't awnser. Dad drove the truck home. Swat still would not awnser the phone all weekend, I came over to look at the truck, being a diesel mechanic dad wanted me to look it over, dad said there were some issues with the way it drove and electrical and lighting issues. I openend the fuse box and found jumper wires for fuses, half of the fuse panel was melted down, the truck was supposed to be a 10 speed but was a 9, I opened  the hood and found there was a fire at one time under the hood, very shoddy wiring to get the truck to run there was no secondary fuel filter because the hoses were burnt up there was a PVC cap for the fuel cap.

The brakes were all shot but one, the one they took a pic of. dad finally got ahold of someone on monDay, there were some very choice words said, dad was told he paid for the truck and signd a purchase agreement and pretty much there was nothing he could do about it! Dad didn't have the money to get into a legal battle so it wasnt persude. But he was stuck dumping close to $9,000 just to get it to DOT, and that wasn't even the week worth of work I put into rewireing the fuse panel and engine to make it safe. the moral of this true story is u can't trust anybody because of cowardly pieces of crap like swat repo!
