Sweepstakes Clearinghouse Ripoff Son received 2 identical pieces of mail that say Urgent: Time Sensitive Document in red. Dallas Texas
I thought it was weird for my son to receive two identical pieces of mail (except for the autorization numbers and an "s" added to the end of one of his names) claiming urgency and also a warning of a "Penalty: up to 5 yrs. imprisonment for anyone who knowingly intereferes with delivery of the Notification. 2005"
So he opened them and both just say "Television Set" - no desciption or picture or other information on this TV. Now get this - on the "Important Instructions" printed on the SAME PART of the paper that you are instructed to "Detach and return with payment" so that once you send it off, you don't see these instuctions again unless you think about making a copy first; it says, "Return this sales notification with payment shown below for immediate release and courier delivery to your home address. Amount includes all product, handling and delivery costs. Satisfaction or refund of money guaranteed by sender if returned within 30 days of delivery. Total Amount Required for Immediate Delivery $37.96 *Account Option* You can make 2 payments of $18.98 instead. Your Television will ship immediately upon completion."
I told him I would check this deal out, and I'm glad I saw this massive volume of complaints against this company. He won't go anywhere near this offer, but if ripoffreport.com wants for us to give these offers to one of your lawyers to put this company to the test, let us know.
