Hey Jeff, Wow. This is Charles the guy you told you'd not honor your warranty to. Everything I am reading here fits how you have come across to me. Recap for those folks who don't know: I ordered a sauna from Jeff @ swimmingpoolsetc.com. It arrived damaged both water damage and structurally damaged. I forwarded photos of the damage and was told it wasn't bad enough to return, I didn't expect to purchase damaged goods when paying for something new.

After a bit and a few more e-mails Jeff agreed that the damage, I guess caused by the trucking company?, was substancial enough to return. I was told there wasn't a like replacement in stock and would I accept a different model, I agreed. The replacement model did retail for more than the one I ordered, should that have been a warning or were you just trying to practice good customer service?, I really don't know.

A couple of weeks later the sauna's control box began to pop and make other noises then quit all together. I contacted Jeff, remember, you said you'd already lost too much money and that I was on my own. Then you said to hire an electrician to verify that, as I told you: but that you called me a lier about, the unit was put together propperly and that it was on a dedicated circuit.

You said it must be assembled by a master electrician? When your instructions say two adults, oh that's right that is a mis-print I remember now. Also it needs a 30 amp breaker, the cord supplied with the unit that plugs into the wall is rated at 20 amps, mmm.

Long story short, I hired an electrician who verified what I'd told you and concluded the control box, by no fault of yours but none the less, was defective. Not hearing what you wanted you e-mailed me back and said "All sales are final." Intamating forget your honoring your warranty. You said you have an A rating with the BBB, I checked oops no you don't.

Not surprising, I guess, I find you here ranting, professional ranting I guess you'd say. I do not care about any of your drama or personal challenges. I have one request, please honor your written warranty. If it becomes necessary to persue other means to get a warranty replacement I will include this site, as I have kept all our corospondences just so I don't have to try to remember everything. Jeff you claim to be worth millions I'm asking for a replacement part worth a few hundred, can you do the math?

Back In 2004 I had the worst experience with wholesalepoolsupplies which has switched to swimmingpoolsetc, I did not get my product for at least 2 months but my credit card was charged the day I ordered. When I phoned to check on my order I was told it had shipped, four days later no valid tracking # was availeable. I called again to speak with the owner who said his name was Jeff. By far the most un-pleaseant male to walk the face of the earth. For a buisness owner he was very rude and foul mouthed, calling me a b***h and treating me like a kid on the phone. I was given probation for about 4 years and I have completed all the terms of my probation. My probation ended for the drug offense. In addition, I have paid my restitution in full. In 2002, I received a DUI and got 3 yrs of probation for that offense. It was charged as a misdeamenor. My probation for that ends on 9/1/05. I was wondering if I can first of all, have my drug offense reduced to a misdeamenor and have it expunged. I am having so many problems trying to find a descent job. Every job I have applied for has turned me down due to my past criminal history. I have done the crime and paid my time. I dont know what else to do to try to rectify this situation. Can someone tell me what my options are, if I have any? I know I have made some bad decisions but I am trying to make a better life for myself and my family. It looks as though I have had some disgruntled employees on her or business dealings. Its sad that they resort to profanity, name calling, lies and 7th grade english with all the mispelled words. Jeff I was just reading these comments and at first was siding with you that maybe these were just disgruntled people who had an axe to grind with you on some other level, but decided to check out the BBB site listed on your company. You stated that all remarks on this post were false, but it appears that there is a little smoke coming up, so when there is smoke there's......? Also, if you truly do have 60,000 customers and have gotten only 56 complaints, that would be comendable for any company, but 56 complaints and 14 went unresolved, that is certainly not a good average. Can you do the math on that figure? Only reason I read this item was because I do occasionally buy golf items via the internet, I guess from your attitude and remarks from the BBB, your company certainly will be on my "DO NOT USE" list. You really should think before you respond. And listing my phone number won't change anything. I have never used your company,so don't have a specific problem, but again, would have proceeded to look into your products in your golf line had you responded with some kind of intelligent response to the accusations from the BBB. We requested but did not receive substantiation for this claim. However, a recent review of the company's Web site indicates that reference to "lowest" price has been eliminated. These are totally false accusations. One, the claimant cannot produce a check that they sent to us, two we do not build pools, we only sell pool supplies. I would love for the claimant to LIST HIS/HER PHONE NUMBER to contact them regarding this claim. This will never happen where you can call them because its all lies. My wife and I were turned on to Swimmingpoolsetc by a friend of a friend, that is no longer a friend. I am an Engineer by profession and I noticed that the contractors Mr. Jeff Yurtin hired used cheap materials that did not have (Longevity). This went back and forth for a while, which caused delays, which Mr. Yurtin blammed on us. We wrote a check for an addtional $1,800.00 funds and the work continued until I noticed the plumbers cutting corners this time by trying to install a smaller filter pump. Every contractor tried to install garbage that they would never install in their own homes. We asked Mr. Jeff Yurtin to provide us with a book containing photos and contact numbers of the pools that he had done, he flat out refused. We fired Mr. Yurtin and his shoddy Swimmingpoolsetc and hired another contractor to finish our pool. Mr. Yurtrin has decided to sue us as the great swimming pool builder tthat he is, aka. con man. I Jeff Yurtin contacted the above named employee Shaun O'donoghue who now works for General Pool & Spa (916)853-2400 and asked him if he posted this saying. The reason I put the phone number above is so that anyone can contact him. He promised me that he did not post this and had even tried to contact RipoffReport.com to solve but you cannot get ahold of anybody there. Its very unfortunate that one person can post a negative comment about an individual and or company without any verification from RipoffReport.com. All of my businesses on the web have excellent history of sending ALL products out and we have been in business on the web for over 8 years now. If we truly had not shipped out products for this long the California DA's office would have shut us down a long time ago. It is my hope that someone will contact the only Shaun that has ever worked for me at the above number and that this report will be dismissed and removed.
