Complaint Review: Sylvia Woods - Pomona California

Sylvia Woods asked me to sign for her vehicle, a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, being a friend I helped her out since her credit was in the toilet.  Lesson learned, but this was the exception, someone I thought was my friend, looking back it was usually a one way street with a few exceptions. 

  Circa 2015 Sylvia Woods had scheduled a luncheon with myself and my friend Chris at the local woodranch in Anaheim Hills.  I surmised she was having a bad day as she called several times for directions at a place we had previously patronized.  When she showed up the three of us were ushered to our table and seated.  We ordered, Sylvia, out of the blue began being extremely rude to me in front of my friend, I was incredulous and doing everything I could to restrain myself.  I asked her "why the f_ck did you come then!?"  and asked for the check, I paid it and the three of us left.  The next day I sent her a text message Sylvia letting her know she really upset me and I would like an apology.  She replied with some perfunctory response.  I told her over the next several weeks I text her asking for an in-person apology she refused.  I told her she lost a friend.  What sort of classless uncouth lowlife is so obstinate they are not willing to APOLOGIZE to a friend, that ladies and gentleman is Sylvia Woods!   I text her a couple of times regarding the vehicle in my name first asking her to obtain a loan in her own name.  She later stated she would make the payments and I told her once it's paid off I will gladly sign it over to her.  I received a call in July and again in August 2018 from a local dealer about the car being towed in for transmission problems, I gave them Sylvias number asked them to call her since it's her car.  I was later called again in August and told Sylvia abandoned the vehicle and bought a new one. It's now September and I am receiving collection calls from Ally the finance company.  My credit is being affected because she takes no responsibility.  Now it's evident why her credit was in the gutter...   Sylvia used to always tell me she has no friends, it's apparent to me now why....   I had known this woman almost 20 years, looking back I see what a one way street it was.  Some of the things I did for her was taking her out to dinner, lunch and breakfast >100 times, I paid.  One time she was struggling I gave her $5,000 in cash.  I referred countless clients to her.  I built her a website and facebook page for her tax business.  I sent her along with two others to Alaska, $7,000 out of my pocket.   I turned a blind eye to some of her unethical behavior, for instance she is an unlicensed realtor according to ca department of real estate search and worked (s) for Landmark Financial as a realtor and mortgage broker.  Sylvia played her part in the mortgage bubble housing crisis.  She would doctor documents, forge documents, falsify tax returns, sometime around 2007 she even purchased a house under her name in the stats of Florida and obtain a fraudulent loan for approximately $50,000 over the price of the house, pocketing the rest.  She later let this house go into foreclosure.  Sylvia Woods is also a tax preparer her in California, on several occasions I have been witness to her manipulating documents and tax returns with the question "how much do you want to owe?" or "how much of a refund do you want?"   Yes, looking back now I see who she is.  Apparently this is a clear case of shame on me for allowing this morally bankrupted person to use me and put me in a position to negatively affect my credit.   BEWARE
