Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have two complaints about this company. First, Steve Hallsted can not be trusted. He doesnt answer your questions and trys to redirect answers with answers that have no relevance.

Second, this company is running a scam lead generation service. They tell specifically debt settlement companies that they can generate leads. They cant, they only resale someone else's junk.

They cant look up bankruptcy data like they state and any leads that are generated by their efforts are worthless. The people are not looking for any type of help with their debt. All leads called in were worthless and generated $0 in new business.

Steve makes a great sales pitch since he came from a sales position with another debt settlement company. Dont believe his pitch unless you want to throw away your business capital and waste your employees time.

Synergy Direct can not be trusted. I did a trial and lost about $4500 with this company.

If you are a business owner or make any deciesions about buying leads, run as far and as fast as possible from Steven Hallsted and Synergy Direct Response.

I think that synergy is running one of the best lead generation scams I have seen to date because your money is non refundable. They will make great promises but will fail to deliver.

Confusion with Synergy Direct

#2Consumer Suggestion

Mon, September 13, 2010

I received a phone call from a Mr. Rosario.  The message on my voicemail indicated that I am a person of interest in a "civil" matter and I need to call 888-841-4010.  Well, I did attempt to call back, but conveniently that number was no longer in service.  The message stated that the number to call is 951-296-6265.

The message left did not indicate the name of the company I was to call, so I can not confirm whether or not Synergy Direct is the company.  From my stand point, it's a little odd that I have a debt with someone, but the number left on my voicemail is bogus.

Look idiot, you are obviously trying to indicate something.  I'm not a fortune teller, or mind reader, and the batteries in my crystal ball went dead, years ago.  What is your point that you address the community as "world?"  Oh, and by the way, what is your level of education?

OK Scumbag,

The fact is I don't have to prove diddly squat. I (along with several other people all over the net) are warning other business owners not to do business with YOUR company OR you.

World, google "Steven Hallsted" and you'll see complaints all over the internet.

The internet sucks for people like you, Steven. You are a slimeball and your stink will follow you until you change your name.

Who is this?

Why so specific Mr. Valdez.  I love when people leave no details, nothing to support their position or to confirm the authenticity of their claim, just general statements that cannot be proven or disproven.  Thanks for your 2 cents Mr. Valdez, that is far more than it was actually worth.

I have associates who have done business with Synergy, and, specifically with Mr. Hallsted. He is the type of businessperson for whom ripoff reports was created to protect against. He has lied about his customers, shared confidential customer information, and generally proved himself to be an unsavory individual.

Lies, outright lies by an anonymous poster

The above listed rebuttal is stupid and a downright lie.  First of all, Synergy Direct Response DOES NOT SELL, MARKET, OR DISTRIBUTE ANY LEADS!!!!!!  They only offer direct mail services.  Leads are generated from direct mail.  You must have mistaken this company for any one of the million lead distributors like iLeads, Leadpoint, etc.  Synergy sells leads like McDonald's sells Volkswagons.  You are either an idiot, or liar. Which one is it?  Of course, that is why you listed your name as anonymous, isn't it?  Don't want your colleagues to know how stupid you are, huh?

Synergy Direct Response is a complete scam.  I was also sold $3,000 worth of leads that were supposed to be 30, 60 and 90 days behind on their mortgage.  Less than 1% of respondents were behind on their mortgage which means 99% of my leads are completely worthless.  I am in the process of suing Synergy Direct Response and we will see how good the California Justice System is when it comes to punishing California scammers.  If the CA Attorney Generals office is reading this message please do something about this company.  As a result of this rip off I will no longer do business with a company on the internet or outside of my own town.

This is a retaliatory and bogus claim

The actual poster of this claim is an executive yet uneducated member of a company named FH Financial.  Not only does said individual NOT live in or anywhere near San Diego,  California, but contrary to what is written, the claiming individual has never conducted any business with the company of which they claim to have been cheated.  The actual name of the poster is Alex Fender, and he really resides in Texas.

This whole charade began when I, Steven Hallsted, went on various blog and review forum posting replies to the claimant's company's fake and bogus positive reviews.  These reviews were left by individuals and employees of his company, FH Financial Services.  Said reviews claimed fake positive results by imaginary happy customers.  Wishing to clear the air, I posted rebuttals to the inconsistent and obviously fake reviews and postings, just like this one.  What's really interesting is, the claimant who proclaims victim status in this posting, represents a company that is so dishonest, that they were charged by the Texas attorney general's office.  See Google "FH Financial Texas Attorney General".  So Alex, who is the scammer now?  Nice try anyway.  One last thing Alex, did you never hear the parable about the guy throwing stones and living in a glass house?
