at the end of February I work for Reaz hoque, a employe of Synergy Events, I helped set up there little fashion show , I worked for him for 5 hours and when it was time to get paid, I got the old " I'm gonna have to send you a check when I get back home excuse", I said ok , he said " text me your address and ill put the check in the mail on monday....after a week I called his fellow employee whose name is Andy, he said he was going to talk with Reaz in the morning and have him send a check.....Anyways, that was three weeks ago and now they won't answer there phone or texts.....I don't know how people stay in business, ,, I should have know better, last year I did another show for them and when it was time to get paid , he pulled the" I don't have any cash on me , I'm going to have to mail you a check," this guy says theses comments often, lol...you can only do this to so many people before people start talking. ...at this point its not a lot of money, its more of the principal. ...If Reaz is reading this, PAY your DEBT! !!

Michael Booth - NYC - is Unlicensed, Unethical, & Unrealiable !

I am Lisa Sullivan, and my firm represents Reaz and the company. My client was surprised to hear that this falsified report has been filed to tarnish the image of him and his company. A company that has existed for almost 9 years and has never had any legal complaints filed against it in the court system in any state. This is also a company that has hired and employed more than 200 contractors in several states and also in several countries in Europe never to have any complaints or law suits filed against it in the court of law.

Michael Booth is a former contractor that was hired for a temporary project (5 hrs of work) that did not fulfill his duties and as a result his payment was delayed because of valid reason. Now is has unsuccessfully tried to tarnish the image of my client. The first time he was hired was in Sept 3, 2014 where he told us he was a licensed carpenter that was part of a union. When he arrived on the job he could not validate his carpentry credentials. As a result we had to hire another carpenter the day before the event. Michael wanted to work for our company and was unemployed so my client ended up feeling sorry for him and giving him a lower position outside of the scope they had originally hired him for.  On the day of 9/4/14 Michael worked the entire event and was paid handsomely with a check totaling $255 that same night. (as a stagehand moving things around). Evidence of payment on that day and Michael's cashing of the check is evident in the following link>> https://www.dropbox.com/s/gfi40zx289e96r3/michael%20booth%20payment%20on%209-04.jpg?dl=0

6 months later Michael was hired again for a shorter contract position on 2/25/15 and his responsibilities were to move boxes into a venue before and after the event. Michael was instructed to stay for the event to be over so he can finish his work duties. Instead he decided to leave and come back to the venue. That would have been fine, however to my client's dismay Michael showed up 1 full hour late to finish the 2nd part of his shift and ended up costing my client to pay the venue an extra $500 because of the event breakdown delay caused by Michael's tardiness. "Michael's excuse was that his alarm didn't go off and he had to go back to his apartment to sleep."

My client then paid him $20 in cash and said the standard process for the accounting department is to mail a check for the remaining $40 within 30-60 days. My client's company is not in the habit of paying contractors via cash as my client understands the importance of leaving a paper trail for obvious reasons. The check was mailed out by Bank of America's autopay system on 3/26/15 which was approximately 31 days from the day of the event. Evidence of the check is located on the following link>>

By writing this report Michael (even after he was paid twice IN FULL by my client's company) has proved to be an unethical human being. It is our only hope that his actions will not hurt the hundreds of employees that this company continues to hire, and also the philanthropic charities and causes that their events benefit every year.
