Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have had a contract with Synergy Technical Solutions since 2009. At first they paid within a relatively reasonable amount of time but then after a couple of years one month of backlog getting paid became five months of backlog, and five months turned into eight or nine.

I am now owed over $1,000 just in invoices that have not been paid out yet, there is also about a $1000 worth of more recent closed out service calls that have not been even been invoiced at all yet. I am not sure of exact specifics off hand because the Syntechs secure login page appears to be down at the moment, I have not been able to login to check my information for about two or three days. So something weird seems to be going on.

The last check I actually recieved was for calls that were closed out in January, that were not invoiced until May, and then not paid out until September.

Sadly I do not have a lot of other experience in the field, the Syntechs contract was basically the first job I got after becoming A+ Certified, there are really not that many entry level positions in this area, all the work is further up north. I do have a second job to make ends meet, it represents most of my income now. It is in an unrelated field though. I am an inventory counter with RGIS.

Small glimmer of hope.

I received this e-mail last night, might be a small glimmer of hope:

To all Synergy Technical Solutions Corporation Service Providers:

I am writing to introduce myself as the new owner of Synergy Technical Solutions Corporation (“Syntechs”) and to update you about recent developments affecting the Company and you.

As you are aware, Syntechs has struggled over the last several years with continuing operating losses due to the staged reduction in pricing and territory related to our relationship with Vizio and Vizio’s manufacturer partners.  During this time, we endeavored to match payments to us with payments to you, but the disruption to Syntechs from the continuing changes imposed upon us by Vizio and its partners led to slower payments.  Ultimately, this led to the recent total loss of this business and resulted in the outstanding obligations to you.  Accordingly, Syntechs was, and remains, unable to continue in its current form.  Moreover, Clarissa and Robert Roxberry have resigned their positions as directors and officers of Syntechs and are no longer involved Syntech’s operations.

Writing this email is the very first thing that I have done as the new owner of Syntechs.  Please understand that I need some additional time, approximately two (2) weeks, to get my arms around the present financial condition of Syntechs.  You can assist me to do that!

Besides the above update, you are receiving this email because it is my understanding that each of you is a service provider to Syntechs and is owed money in connection with warranty services provided by you to purchasers of Vizio products.  Over the next few days, please respond to this email and assist me to quantify the amount of obligations owed by Syntechs to you by sending me a statement detailing the services you have provided and the amounts owed to you.

I will be working hard to maximize distributions to you from Syntechs’ remaining assets as well as from its future profits and hopefully, we can continue a mutually beneficial relationship.

Thank you for your consideration and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Louis Weltman

Lets start with this that I recieved 10/15/2015

Announcement - Syntechs

We are sure that over these past few weeks you have been wondering what is going on at Syntechs.

We tried very hard to manage our increasingly difficult situation, of increased costs and decreasing margins, but were not successful.

As a result of all these challenges we have decided for the time being to cease our operations. We have begun to work with a restructuring firm to examine our operations and determine if and how we can move forward.

We anticipate a more detailed announcement on our restructuring efforts early next week.

We know that you have a lot of questions, and wish we could give you all the answers now, however, until we can begin our restructuring process, we will not have any further information.

Sincerely,

Steven Friedman

Interim Chief Financial Officer

So I gave my 30days notice on July 21 2015, for 2 reasons I had not received a job in 3 weeks and I had another opportunity come up. My last day to except jobs was on august 21 of 2015 but 7days prior or so they started sending me jobs again which i only did the ones i didnt have to bid on which was ok but frustrating as i was almost done with them and it seemed as if they were trying to suck me back in. But that wasnt going to happen as i was tired of having to fight with them to send me my check in full, I was lucky if i got one every month as i was making right around 3k a month, Their story was that they have to wait to get paid by a vender before paying me, well that truly isnt my problem they shouldn’t be sending techs out if they dont have the funds to cover the job.

So to get back to the letter they owe me 4100.00 and I just got a letter from Steven F who says I will probably not see much of it if any. He is telling me that they are shutting down yet they are still running jobs which if they are truly shutting down and can pay me the money they owe me from over 3 months ago now and knowing they will not be able to pay for the techs running jobs right now this is a federal fraud crime for any techs outside of Florida as it crosses state lines.  If they are not closing down then he is just lying to me to avoid paying me.  But Ive done some calling around and Vizion is still in business with them which he has told me they are not working with them anymore and i call the HD Repair line to get new out of warranty work done and they are still taking new jobs and i talked to the lady on the phone and asked her are you shutting down she said no they just hired new people. I also called the tech help desk # and they are still taking calls. So I believe he is just lying to me.

I have the owner’s info here for anyone else that wants to bug the heck out of him to get paid.

Robert Roxberry

(((REDACTED)))  this is his home phone he got pissed when I called him on a Sat he was having a party.

His Home is on (((REDACTED)))

He also has a home in Tampa

I am contacting the local papers and media in his area to see if that will get him motivated in paying me if not , my next step is to seek out a lawyer to fill federal fraud against him.

If there are any Lawyers out there willing to help us  (techs) get paid what he owes us please contact me.

I have just received a an email with an announcement that Synergy Technical Solutions ceasing operations and undergoing restructuring. I would have copy and pasted the text, but it was posted on Survey Monkey for whatever reason. I was only able to look at it once. They did say there will be more updates later on.
