I recently cancelled my account with t-mobile after being dragged into another 3 months of my remaining 1 year contract. I paid the huge ETF, and thought that my relationship with T-mobile was over. The next month, they continued to charge me for the aforementioned cancelled account. I called tmobile and their customer reps gave me the runaround.
The only way I solved my problem was to file a dispute with my credit card company - Citicard. I explained my situation to them, and they were able to get my money back from tmobile and no other charges have been made to my account since. If you are enrolled in an autopay service with tmobile, or if they are charging your credit card, please call your credit card company and have them dispute the two year renewal for you. Chances are, your credit company will win and you'll be out of the contract.
I'm currently with Boost and I love it. Try it out. I'll never sign another two year contract again!
