Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I read with interest another employee's story about working at T-mobile.  I too was fired.  I was taken out of the building on December 15th, not allowed to even go back and get my personal belongings. I was treated like a common criminal and i did nothing wrong.  I worked for T-mobile for almost 2 years, only called in sick twice, and was a dedicated and loyal employee and tried my best to do a good job each and every day i was there.  It was never enough. Once i felt i had learned what it is they required of me, they changed the rules.  I was subjected to harassment, i was made to feel stupid, old, and was told i was negative because i did not join in the email "trash talk" that my coach requested of us to increase moral.

It started on May 15th when i was taken into my coaches office and told my "good standing was taken away for 90 days.  This was because i was not meeting the standards set forth for quality  Then I was told by my coach that at any time she may come up behind me, tap me on the shoulder, and walk me to the front office, then i would be sent home for "decision time", two days paid, to think about weather i wanted to continue working for them, or I could quit, no hard feelings.  This type of harassment continued each and every day up until they walked me out December 15.

The "quality" information that they used to determine my value was based on calls listened to and scored by different coaches, and it was based on less than 1% of all the calls i took each day.  Some coaches told their employees when they would be scored, this enabled those employees to prepare and get the "good" scores to allow their coaches to look good.  I was not one of these employees.

I was in a pod where candy was thrown by the coach at the employees and managers came around and yelled daily and when i complained about the unsafe working conditions, i was told to "make something positive of it" and the coach, Scott Maple, brought in more bowls of hard candy to throw, to help "motivate" the other employees.

I have never been fired for doing my job, nor have i ever worked in such a hostile work environment that treated their employees so poorly.  I have had to monitor my blood pressure per my doctor and since the firing it is gradually going done.  I was unable to sleep at night and constantly worried about losing my job no matter how hard i worked.

Harrassment is unreasonabley interfering with a persons performance creating an intimiating, hostile, or offensive work environment

This defines my tenure with T-mobile.

You definitely sound like a likeness of the managers trained at T-mobile.  Since there were no sales quota's or reports, and i did nothing wrong, i will consider your coment invalid.  You need to know the facts before you coment on someones misfortune.  I also understand that you did not read the entirereport.  Harrassment is against the law in any state.

Any company has expectations. You have to meet a sales qouta and have accuracy in the accounts you handle. If you dont you can be fired. I am sorry things changed but as an employee you have to learn the new rules or they will get rid of you. I hope things start going better for you in the future
