Late 2010 I bought the Samsung Vibrant $600 because of no contract. Up sold the warranty which was told it will cover repairs and stolen issues.  After about 1 and half years of use I had some problems started mid March 2012. These problems were if you were to receive a phone call, it went straight to voicemail with no vibrant phone ringing occurring home and work location. Call tech support and we did all the troubleshooting to name a few factory reset, reset towers, new sims chip. I have 5 bar signal strength and they sent a mobile person to see if there is a black spot area and none existed. In addition to others who have vibrant and work in my location dont have this problem. More of the drastic solutions in other wards. They also sent me to the T-Mobile retail store (not to the distribution stores) to troubleshoot.

The retail store tells me that they dont do the troubleshooting at all and didnt understand why they instructed me to do that. Then the tech say it needs to be replaced. Ok so I have the insurance and that should take care of it right? WRONG!!!!!! Your insurance doesnt take care of it. Only if its stolen but not defects for the insurance. So I ask to speak with a manager and he confirms the communication from the tech. Then he says this is what I will do for you. I will send you the Samsung Exhibit II 4G less than $200 value and refurbished and waive the $20 exchange fee $5 for shipping fee.  So I asked why not replace my Vibrant. Managers response we are out of Vibrants which you paid the $600 some odd dollars for and the Samsung Exhibit is a MUCH BETTER PHONE TRUST ME. I figured I guess if thats the only option. I asked how long a cell phone should last if you take care of it normally. His response was 3 years normally. I told them if you look in all the history Ive only called a few times and that I dont abuse the insurance and Im not going to lie about what happened to the phone.

Its not mid July 2012 and Im having almost all the same problems with the Exhibit II 4G. When receiving a phone call it goes straight to the voicemail but now instead it also once every 3-4 days it has a continuous vibration and only work around is to reboot. And when I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager I always get were too busy give us a number and well call you back. I never got a call back and that I had to keep calling.
