I worked for Taco Bell for 1 month for the second time in 2 years. I am 45 with a disabled child. I called in to work in accordance with the rules. I was given write-ups that were unbeknownst to me. My child is diabled and cannot go to daycare, The company was aware of my child's disability. I did not miss work. I had an appointment, told my boss within 48 hours, she scheduled me to report to work one hour later that ususal and I did, I worked 5 hours that day. The next day after work she gave me a write up, stating that it was an unexcused absence for the previous day that I did work. How is that Possible? absent means, you are not present is that correct? Many comments were made about some of my physical attributes in a joking way. And there were many gestures by other employees that were absolutely absurd! These incidents were recorded and witnessed by customers quite often! The boss spoke of spitting in food incidents and talked about sexual activity. The general manager and here managers would indulge in weed and transform upon their return which is also recorded. The area manager produced proof of being a part of this suit also her and the general manger are the key players. Please call if there are any questions and if I can be of any assistance to you with any problems you may have had with this company. Sincerely, P. Anthony 12/29/2004 By the way, my daughter has been sick and hospitalized since the incident of my termination occurred. I was a good worker and worked hard. I even was made to put the truck order away by myself the saturday before I was fired. I never received a break until the day of my termination. Thank you for your time

What happened to your son wasnt fair, no doubt, and it's obvious you're upset over the series of events that have happened. Ever consider calling the general manager, district manager, or even division manager to resolve this problem? Just posting your story on this site will not solve your problem alone. And I doubt your son will need counseling. Thats just overkill and taking it a bit far. Best of luck to you and your son.
