TAG 1441 Larimer StDenver, CO 80202 UNAUTHORIZED CHARING OF OUR CREDIT CARD Denver Colorado
We had a party of 16 people from out of town who were visiting us and we made a reservation a tag. We signed a credit card authorization form to hold the spot but promised it would only be charged if we did not show up for the reservation. It also states this directly on the credit card form. Upon our arrival, the service was the worst we have ever experienced. We waited 90 minutes to get one drink, ordered food that did not arrive and expressed our dissatisfaction to the "manager"- he insulted us by saying that we can "take our free business and leave" and he won't charge us. We told him that we were not looking for free business and insisted on paying for what we consumed before departing. He said no- we were very unhappy and that we would take care of it. He never asked for a credit card of any kind and said since we were receiving this awful service he would take care of it. We left and went to another resturant to eat and order drinks. A few days later we see that our credit card was charged (the one we had given the resturant to simply hold our reservation)- obviously our intenetion was not to pay for 16 people nor did we agree to do that. When we called the resturant they did not return our call. Finally, the same assistant manager who insulted us originally called us and said "sorry we charged you for what your party consumed". We are obviously disbuting the charge with the bank but we are also spending our time having to deal with this. Don't ever sign a credit card authorization form with this company and never take a large party here. They don't have the service or the capability to provide the service and do the right thing.
