I signed up to work for Task Rabbit and in order to accept jobs, I was told I would need a background check that costs $25. I paid the $25 and never heard back. They said their "third party company could not complete my background check". I have been sending them emails ever since and finally today, they sent the one saying they do not refund registration fees. The fee was for a background check, which they could not complete.
