Tatcha Skincare is a complete and utter scam. I bought Tatcha Cleansing Oil when I saw them on QVC and used a discount code, making the price somewhat bearable. I figured if it was expensive, it must be good. Wrong.
Within a minute of using the product, my face broke out in a terrible and painful rash. I have never once had a reaction to any products I have ever tried, making me very alarmed of this situation. I Googled "Tatcha Allergic Reaction" and saw that I am one of hundreds that encounters this problem.
I further researched this problem, and discovered that the ingredients used are very, very cheap. It does not warrant a high price point, Tatcha is an epic scam. Shame on you Vicky Tsai. I called Tatcha, and got ahold of one of their customer service reps, and asked "Why are you pretending these ingredients are so expensive?". She responded, and slipped, "We don't. Our cost of goods is ony 2.5%".
2.5% is your costs of goods!? You sell the cleansing oil for $48, so that means it costs $1.20 to make it. This stuff should only cost a fraction of what it does, but Vicky Tsai is a master manipulator and has the public fooled. Avoid Tatcha like the plague.
Attached is a picture of the allergic reaction that I received from the Tatcha cleansing oil.

The company is still in business, my apologies. I got a phone call from one of their reps just now. They are growing very quickly apparently.
